Mrs.Asha Roy Ma'am |
Her own style of teaching
different aspects of Hindi as a structured language was unique in itself. I can
still recall that I actually was able to understand meaning of Mr. Harivansh
Rai Bacchan’s poem “Madhushala” when she explained it in class.
Even though Hindi is one of
the language which stands amongst the highest speaking language it’s one of the
few language in the world which is most adaptable and contains words from almost
every language. It also reflects one of the few excellent qualities of humans,
we try to adjust ourselves as per the environment around us, so does Hindi, it
accepts everyone, may be that’s one the reasons that now a days we don’t talk
in Hindi rather common language of communication is “Hinglish” anyways for some
of us it’s impossible to communicate in pure Hindi, may be that’s the beauty
about this language.
Hindi is one of the language
for most of us where our first teacher is our mother, and so is the case with
me as well. But to achieve the professional excellence knowledge of this
language, we all need a good teacher, today while recalling the memory of my high
school Hindi teacher Mrs. Asha Roy, I would also like to recall memories of my
Hindi Teachers who contributed towards enhancing my knowledge and skills in
Hindi since my day one in school.
For instance Mrs. Indubala ma’am
who taught me Hindi till 10th standard.
Closing this message with a
special thanks to all my Hindi teachers who helped me by teaching such a beautiful
language.
