Divine Language - Sanskrit

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा ग्रुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः । गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः ॥

Simple meaning of this statement in Hindi is:

गुरु ब्रह्मा है, गुरु विष्णु है, गुरु हि शंकर है; गुरु हि साक्षात् परब्रह्म है; उन सद्गुरु को प्रणाम ।

Mrs. Rama Saxena my Sanskrit Teacher(6th to 8th Std.)

Its very much easy to write it down here, but in reality the ancient and one of the oldest structured language in world is being neglected in India itself.

Today allow me to share the memories of my Sanskrit Teacher - Mrs. Rama Saxena

Ma'am with her husband Mr. Ashok Saxena

As per my syllabus I had to study it only for 2 years in my High School. Yet I feel the importance of knowing a little bit about this language, even I shouldn't hesitate in saying that our current educational system ignores the importance of such crucial language, now after growing up I am realizing that how Mathematics and Sanskrit share a similar pattern in terms of their structured approach.

This language has already done its bit towards adding a lot of words in different language, be it English, Hindi or any other language in the world, they all are somewhere somehow influenced by Sanskrit.

Ma'am with her Family

I can't take off memories of my Sanskrit teacher who introduced me to this subject, her way of talking and interacting with us always had a touch of the divine language itself. Using all possible examples to make us remember and understand the concept and finally score required marks 😃

Her role during annual functions along with other staff members has always been remarkable in teaching some of the difficult Sanskrit contents to students who used to perform on such events.
Some of the amazingly catchy "Shloks" she used to teach us always used to find their way to our heart and tongue.

Even after so many years I am grateful towards her for teaching me this language.

Thank you Ma'am..
For guiding us, inspiring us....

धन्यवादः

Art of Life- Craft of Life

Today I am going to write about one of my Crafts teacher – "Mrs. Chandana Mitra"
She did her schooling from D.V. Girls’ High School CRJ and is now working in the same school as craft teacher, she is one of the few students of the school who continued their professional endeavor with the same school.

Mrs.Chandana Mitra

Art and craft as content or subject during our school days is always taken for granted for children in formal education, our education system emphasizes only towards including it in subject list to increase your average percentage by scoring some good marks.

Chandana Ma'am with her Family members
Ma'am with her better half Mr. Shishir Mitra

But while doing this we forget about one basic thing, if this subject can improve our total score and increase our percentage why it can’t increase your income? Or why it can’t help you have an alternative source of income. Our mere ignorance for these subjects or let me say field of excellence has thrown it in dark, our generation has missed on exploring this deep sea of opportunity.

One of my Creation from my school time, which I learned in my Craft Class

One of the best qualities I remembered of her was her nature and way of handling kids who were not interested in doing their home-work or class work related to her subject, I don’t remember if she ever scolded anyone for not submitting the assignments.

Ma'am with her Family
Somewhere somehow she knew the perfect way of keeping herself motivated, never allowing other subject teachers to take over her sessions and enjoying every possible moment with her students.

Now we are grown up and we are busy with our professional responsibilities, we go shopping in malls or decorated markets we see so many different items costing from dust to fortunes, I kind of connect it with the classes I ignored during my school days some time I think that how and why these subjects are very much vital for our educational system, and how much money people are making by using these skills which our society considers as useless???
It’s a question worth giving a thought!!!

Dedicated this post to you ma’am… and every other arts and crafts teacher in our country where the least importance is given to such important subjects and skills.

Mrs. Sudha Das

Sudha ma'am with her better half

We always used to talk about her that she never repeat her sarees, and might be she is having a huge collection of sarees in her wardrobe.

Her every cotton Saree is well ironed and she carry it very smartly. Sudha ma’am’s birthday is on- 01st Jan 1957.

She has a lovely daughter named Neha

She is basically from Patna City, India. She completed her High School from - D.V. Girls’ CRJ and done her College from- SSLNT Women College, Dhanbad.

My friend Priti Sharma still remember her all lectures and she loved to attain her every lecture. Priti always used to follow all the guidance and methodology of ma’am, maybe that’s why she decided to follow the path and now she is working as a professor at O.P. Jindal School, Raigarh.

My friend"Priti Sharma"

Sudha ma'am always used to mention to us that her hard work and zeal to succeed made her work along with teachers who taught her during her school days, so in such way Priti succeeded in doing so, just the matter of fact is that she is doing is elsewhere, yet carrying on the legacy…

जिन्दगी तो सभी के लिए एक रंगीन किताब है।

फर्क बस इतना है की कोई हर पन्ने को दिल से पढ़ रहा है;

और कोई दिल रखने के लिए पन्ने पलट रहा है।

हर पल में ज्ञान है;हर लम्हे में ख़ुशी है।

खो दो तो यादें है ;जी लो तो जिन्दगी है!!!!

Do you speak English?

Do you Speak English?

Now a days speaking English is most important for any job profile. Whether you are working as a CEO of any company or as a Call Center Executive. English is most common/widely spoken language in the world approx. 335,000,000 numbers of English speaker in the world.

My high school English teacher “Mrs. Vijiya Padmanabhan” is the teacher who changed my life.

Teachers perform the important role of our second parent. They guide us all over our life through their teachings and ideas. Their Knowledge help us to face the world infact they are indispensable in our lives and an asset to the society.
She is an M.A in English Literature. She presents her lessons in a different method in which the interaction between the teacher and the students is encouraged. She always encourages the weaker students to take part in the classroom activities so that they can develop their speaking skill. I was little shy from reading loudly and doing presentations and she noticed that on me, so she was always letting me to read and make presentations and by the time I get rid of this ugly adjective.

Every day she teaches us in a new style. She can make any grammatical problem easy. She knows well how to increase curiosity of the students. She is very friendly with us. She never lebukes or punishes anybody for their mistakes. Usually she equally participates in the yearly cultural week of our school. She also plays vital role in the other extra-curricular activities like (Saraswati Puja, Annual Sports days, Picnic).
